Our Luxury Villa  Fitness & Wellness Retreats aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and cater to those who already lead an active way of life and want to continue their fitness and adventure journey. The week is thoughtfully designed to feature a mix of traditional fitness activities and classes, as well as cultural excursions and attractions. Unlike other retreats that only offer three fitness classes a day, our program focuses equally on wellness and adventure while residing in a luxurious boutique villa.

This retreat is ideal for individuals seeking a unique and active experience. For instance, we provide every guest with a bicycle for the week to encourage exploration beyond the villa’s premises. The accommodation and retreat base are chic, modern, and luxurious, located just a stone’s throw away from the magnificent sandy Tigaki Beach on the stunning island of Kos. Guests share a villa, and they can choose from the luxury master suite with an ensuite or a bedroom that shares a bathroom with only one other room. Each villa includes a swimming pool with sun loungers, and the complex features a state-of-the-art outdoor gym, an outdoor cinema, and a communal bar where breakfast is served. Whether you’re travelling alone, with friends, or with a partner, you’ll feel pampered and revitalized in this exquisite setting.

The incredible Activities involved:

A bike ride to the incredible Aloe Vera Farms by Pandrosia (a local company producing amazing natural products).

Pandrosia Farms are a breathtaking 9km bike ride from our retreat, offering numerous photo opportunities along the way.

Pyli, also known as Pili, is a lush and fertile plain located at the heart of Kos Island. It is surrounded by remnants and landmarks that reveal the ancient history of the area. These include the Byzantine castle, a natural spring with ancient vaults, and the sanctuary of Dimitra and Persephone, symbolizing the cycle of fertility in the land. The Pyliotiko House, a traditional dwelling dating back centuries, serves as a living museum showcasing rich traditions, customs, and delectable local cuisine.

Within Pyli lies the Drosos family estates, covering a total of 10 hectares (100,000 square meters) of fertile green land. Paul Drosos often refers to it as his personal paradise. Three hectares of the estate are dedicated to cultivating certified, high-quality organic Aloe vera plants, scientifically known as Aloe barbadensis Miller.

On the Drosos estates, time seems to slow down, aligning with the mysterious rhythm of the earth. The land and plants are left undisturbed, allowing them to flourish and bear fruits effortlessly. “Aloe has patience, so you too must have the same,” summarizes Paul Drosos, encapsulating the philosophy behind organic Aloe vera cultivation.

Although the journey presents a few challenges, it’s achievable for fitness enthusiasts. The route includes some uphill moments, but with every uphill comes a downhill, allowing for rest and recovery. The total distance is approximately 18km round trip, but midway, we take a well-deserved break to enjoy a guided and insightful tour of the Aloe Vera Farms at Pandrosia.

In addition, we offer the option to upgrade to an e-bike, making the journey to Pamdrosia even more accessible for those who prefer a little extra assistance. The e-bike upgrade provides a comfortable ride with minimal physical exertion, allowing you to focus on the scenic route and the hot springs’ rejuvenating effects.

A Hike across the mountain to Palio Pyli Fortress.

Starting from the charming mountain village of Zia, we embark on a hike across Dikeos mountain to Palio Pyli Castle. The ancient acropolis of Paleo Pyli, an abandoned settlement, is located west of Mount Dikeos. It proudly sits atop a rocky hill, offering panoramic views of the coasts of Kalymnos and Pserimos. The walls of the acropolis contain pottery fragments from the Bronze Age, and it served as a refuge for the island’s inhabitants during invasions by the Ottoman Turks. The fortress displays different stages of construction, including a unique central gate built in the late 11th century using the “hidden plinth” technique, which is rare in the Dodecanese Islands. The fortress’s history comes to an end around 1820, likely due to a devastating plague. The hike offers an opportunity to explore Greece’s stunning natural scenery, with lush forests and verdant hills along the way.  Whilst at Pyli Castel, you will have the opportunity to explore and rest in the view captivating Cafe.

There is an additional activity* day where you can experience an activity of your choice.  These activities could include:

  • Horse Riding on the Beach
  • Windsurfing at one of the local windsurfing centres, or
  • A pamper day at the traditional Artemis Hamam located in the village of Tigaki.
  • Or, you can add on some pampering to go with your already included poolside massage.. no better setting for relaxation.

And, if none of these activities takes your fancy you are free to organise your day, maybe you want a beach day or fancy a shopping trip to Turkey, the day is yours to explore as you wish.
